Project Life: Feb Five

Valentine's Day has never been a big deal to me, boyfriend or no boyfriend, I just look at it as another day. Don't get me wrong, I'm in love with the idea of love. I believe though that love should be shown all year round, not just on some day in February. Sophie was my 'Valentine' this year - as she's been for the past four years. The card is by Rifle Paper Co. from Chapters Indigo.

I am happy with how this turned out.. I just love when things all work out. Have I mentioned before that I don't "plan" my pages? I just go with it. I don't put post-it notes on them and I don't stress out if it doesn't look "perfect" if I'm happy with it, that's all that matters to me.

Obviously, because it was around Valentine's Day I wanted to have hearts and love and all that junk. I am so thrilled with how my "currently: life is wonderful" card came out. I took the digital version of the "currently" Seafoam Edition card, it was orangeish but I grey scaled it and printed it on white card stock. And then took the digital version of the "life is" Sunshine Edition card and printed it on vellum. Layered the two and stapled it together. The "wonderful" embellishment is from a piece of 12x12 Maggie Holmes Flea Market paper that I bought solely to cut up and use for embellishments.

The heart geotag card is from the Amy Tangerine Plus One Project Life Mini Kit - which can I just say might possibly be my most favourite collection/kit EVER. Gosh, she knocked it outta the park with this one. It's spectacular. On this card, I used my manual typewriter to type out one of my favourite poems by Tyler Knott Gregson. The wood XO card is by Amy Tangerine for Two Peas in a Bucket. And again, the right side page protector is by October Afternoon.

  2. I am so depressed to hear that you live in Vancouver (no offense, lol).
I am also (usually) a single-girl scrapbooker absolutely in love with my dog, but I live in NYC!
