Project Life: Feb Four

Super simple layout this time. Well, simple-ish. Not a lot of pictures, but lots of patterns and I love it. Probably too busy for a lot of people, but it's fun and different and that's one of my goals for this project this year. The "I love you more" card is part of a free download Jasmine Dowling is offering for Valentine's day. I edited it because having it say "I love you more than _____" didn't fit my situation. So I changed it to just say "I love you more". Been seriously in love with her work for months and months - such a talent.

The black and white striped card is one I designed as a free printable (posted the other day if you missed them) it's great for adding a bit of journalling. It also works great for this mostly black and white layout. The "start something new" and "escape the ordinary" stamp is from Kate Spade which I purchased from Chapters.

Note to self: work on your stamping skills.

  1. I like that way you did "I love you more" instead of than. I tried to find the way to erase "than" but I can't find. I will try to do that. Thanks for sharing this.

  2. Absolutely adore your pages! So much fun, and for me it's a JOY to see pages w/o kids. Yes, I know, I'm awful. But seing as I have two shelter cats and no kids, it is really LOVELY to see someone with an adopted, beloved pets and lots of happiness in their pages only. Not that I MIND kids, it's just that those pages donät resonate as much with me.
So... Yes. That's pretty much it. :)

  3. I think the bold and subtle black and white patterns actually complement each other really nicely so it hardly looks too busy at all! Plus the pops of orange and yellow make it a winning combination (:

    1. I used a ruler and marked a dotted line so then I just poked holes along it :)

    2. Duh! One more question - what did you use to poke through the protectors? I am new to PL and hand stitching, so I have a lot of catching up to do!
