I've always had this thing where I walk with my head down. Not all the way down, I don't look at my feet when I walk, but I look a where I'm about to walk. Not sure why, maybe to avoid having to make eye contact with people, haha, but it's what I do. And bonus, I never step in gum or dog poop!
A couple weeks ago I saw that Two Peas in a Bucket had the new We R Memory Keepers Instagram albums in their shop. I knew I wanted one and my toughest choice was black or grey. Now I'm wishing I had gone with both because they are just so adorable.
When it arrived it was even more perfect that I originally thought, it's seriously so tiny and cute! I grabbed a bunch of page protectors, both single 4x4's and four 2x2's (more than I really needed to, but I'm a hoarder) and one black album. If anyone wants to gift me the grey album, that would be fantastic haha. At first I wasn't sure what I wanted the album to be about, I thought maybe I'd just hang onto it for a while and make it an NYC trip mini album at some point. But then I got this awesome idea to turn it into a From Where I Stand album. 2x2 and 4x4 is the perfect size for "shoe shots". I decided that this is going to be a fun, as things happen type of album. I'm not going to do a picture a day or a weekly thing. When I get a picture, I'll put it in the album.
I went back over almost all my photos from last year and re-printed any #fromwhereistand type pictures that I took. Once I printed them out I just stuck them in the pages, they're not really in any type of order. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I think it'll be a fun ongoing project to have.
Bonus! For those of you using Studio Calico Handbooks, these fit into the rings! Sadly, they don't work with any other albums. I tried 12x12's, Becky Higgins 6x8 albums as well as Simple Stories Snap albums and there was no way they'd fit - whomp whomp!
