Project Life: April Eight

Purple! Why is there such a lack of purple in scrapbooking? I guess it could be kind of a hard colour to use... but oh well, I enjoy throwing little bits of purple in here and there. So, this was the last spread I did while Sophie was still at home with me, which is why I placed a photo of her and I in the last pocket, just a nice little detail. Somehow I printed the image too small so I used some gold polka dot washi to cover up the white space. I had been having issues with my printer for a couple weeks and I was not going to waste any more ink to fix it, so I improvised. The "you and me" ampersand is from Glitz Design's Black and White Whatnots embellishment pack.

The bottom left corner is a confetti vellum pocket I made by hand stitching with gold thread around two pieces of vellum. I put gold stars and gold sequins inside. I thought it was a nice card to go along with the Studio Calico homepage card - thanks again, SC for including me on the home page!

The top right corner card is a Sunshine edition card from the digital version of the kit. I printed it on vellum, instead of card stock. I love how it turned out - boy, do I love vellum haha. The "all I need" card was made by me, the arrow is from Amy Tangerine's Plus One digital Project Life kit.
