Project Life: April One

April is here! Well, actually, April was here 12 days ago and I'm getting behind on posting my layouts for you guys. It's busy season at work and the next couple weeks will be crazy! I'll try my best to keep up to date for all you lovelies!

With the start of a new month, I get to add my Rifle Paper calendar (bought from Paper Source at the start of the year). I love using this calendar, I have the large Cities one up on my wall. Rifle Paper Co. is the best. I fancied this months calendar up with some gold confetti from Oh Joy for Target. I don't throw parties, but I needed this confetti for my scrapbooking. The gold chipboard star is by Studio Calico.

I had been obsessed with reading Allegiant by Veronica Roth after seeing he Divergent movie (twice) so all of my spare time for about 3 days was spent reading this book. Pretty sad the series is over - I get emotionally attached to characters in books. I also received some major happy mail! One thing being my gold "eyeball" sconce from Urban Outfitters. This bad boy had been on backorder and I finally decided to bit the bullet after obsessing over it for a couple months. It's the perfect addition to my gallery wall and makes for a great reading light.

Speaking of gallery wall, my "you are something magical" print by Jasmine Dowling finally arrived. And when I say finally, I really mean it. I bought this at the start of December through an Australian company. This was all before Jasmine became uber popular due to her free brush script calendar. Unfortunately, the company.. well, let's just say I will never order from them again. But after contacting Jasmine I finally got the print. I had had that gold Ikea frame sitting empty for over 3 months and I'm beyond thrilled I was able to add it to my wall.
