Project Life: May Two

I'm not good with this blogging thing, I'm so thankful for the scheduled post setting because that way I can sit down on the weekend and type up a bunch of posts and they go live throughout the week. I don't know how people can blog for a living, but kudos to them!

I wanted to keep this spread as "light and bright" as I could. Since I like black so much, I feel a lot of my spreads are on the darker side. Now that spring is here and there is extra daylight, I think more of my photos will turn out "light and bright" as well. I couldn't resist throwing a little black and white stripes into the mix though. I'm hooked.

I kept things super simple this week. Some journaling, filler cards and only two actual pictures. I am loving the free printable from Ann Marie Loves and I paired it with the "May" from Jasmine Dowlings free 2014 calendar. The gold foil exclamation point from Studio Calico is a huge win. And the pink journal card is from a cut down piece of Dear Lizzy 12x12 paper. The gold "hugs & kisses" transparency is packaging from a make your own Valentine's paper chain - I'm so crafty, I know.
