Project Life: July One

I finally gave up the Rifle Paper calendars! If you follow my blog, you'll know just how much I have haaaated having them be my monthly dividers, but for the sake of my OCDness I kept using them. Well - no more!

I decided to change things up and use the Jasmine Dowling calendars that I wanted to use, then didn't use because waaay too many people were also using them. So I improvised! In photoshop I took the calendar and deleted the part with the days, I could have kept it, and maybe next month I'll keep it - who knows. I then took the title of the month and printed it out on this Studio Calico cardstock. I cut the 12x12 sheet down to 8.5x11 so I could run it through my printer and then cut that piece down to 6x8 to fit in my album. I have SO much paper so I don't mind actually using it.

Other supplies used: Like Love card from a Studio Calico monthly kit - it's printed on watercolour paper so I painted it in myself. Bottom right card is from Becky Higgins.

  3. Ah ha, she got rid of the calendars that she hated, hey? Now tell me, are you going to go back and change all the previous months to match. I would, but that's just me :)

  4. Hey Tracy, I love your layout, it's just so positive and inspiring! If I may ask, I was wondering what kind of watercolour paper you used to print on. I've tried that with a similar project with my ink jet printer (a canon pixma) and some fine art watercolour paper. It didn't work well, the colours came out blurry, probably because of the rough surface of the paper.
