Project Life: October Six

Only I can go to a work event and take pictures that no one is in. I swear I wasn't alone! It's just weird for me to be like, "hey guys, can I take your picture for my scrapbook?" My friends more or less know that I'll be taking pictures, co-workers are a different story haha. So for the left side, we went for a group painting competition/party, it was hilarious. We all went out for dinner after, but I neglected my phone and forgot to snap a picture or two - oh well, it happens and you move on!

The right side is back to my and my little babe. The "right now" card is probably one of my favourite cards I've ever done. I love how one idea morphs into something else which morphs into something else. Scroll down to get a better look at it. The "right" wood veneers are by Studio Calico and the "now" wood veneer piece is from the Gossamer Blue "On My Desk" collection. That card is from The Underground Studio Calico monthly kit. The grey polka dot card is also from that months kit though it actually says "harvest" in the circle, but I knew that wasn't really going to work for me, so using Photoshop, I sized that picture of me and Sophie to a circle that would fit over top and then used a circle punch to neatly cut it out. Score: I actually had a punch on hand that was the same size! "one thousand goodnight kisses" is a digital stamp, also by Studio Calico, which perfectly fit with that picture.
